Rain this afternoon and evening! Mild and dry Wednesday! Possible coastal storm late Saturday into Sunday!


Skies have become overcast in the area and most temperatures are in the lower 30s, winds are light and there is some fog in the higher elevations.

A low pressure system will be moving into our area today with rain developing this afternoon and ending before daybreak on Wednesday, expect 1/4 to 1/2 inch of precipitation.

Clearing on Wednesday with mild temperatures but it will become windy.

Cooler and dry weather from Thursday through most of Saturday.

A storm system is expected to form offshore on the weekend, models have trended weaker and further offshore with this storm, so at the present time we will just forecast a chance of snow or rain late Saturday into Sunday.

TONIGHT – Rain, mainly before 4am, low around 40.

WEDNESDAY – Chance of early morning showers then becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high around 40.  Chance of snow or rain at night.

SUNDAY – Cloudy with a chance or rain or snow, high in the low 40s.

Skies are mostly clear in the Clifton area but cloudy over inland areas early this morning, temperatures are mainly in the lower 30s and winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a pleasant day with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s.

An area of low pressure will give us some precipitation Tuesday afternoon and evening, temperatures will be on the mild side so we can expect only rain from this system amounting to around 1/4″

Clearing and mild on Wednesday

Cooler and dry weather Thursday through most of Saturday.

A stronger storm is likely Saturday night into Sunday giving us some rain or snow.

Looking ahead another storm may give us rain or snow Christmas eve into Christmas day.

Quiet weather pattern continues!


Skies are mainly cloudy across the area early this morning with temperatures ranging from the upper 30s in the Clifton area to the low 30s inland, winds are from the northwest around 10 mph.

After early cloudiness we should see more in the way of sunshine today, temperatures will be in the 40s with a tad less wind.

Sunshine continues on Monday with continued comfortable temperatures for mid-December.

A frontal system will give us a chance of rain Tuesday afternoon and night, precipitation should be light.

Some showers possible again on Wednesday, temperatures will continue to be seasonably mild.

Cooler weather to end the week with a possibility of a storm for next weekend that may give us some rain or snow.

Dry weather through early next week with a slow warming trend!


We have partly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures are mainly in the lower 30s, winds are from the northwest around 10 mph.

Today will enjoy dry conditions with a bit more sun than yesterday, winds will still be a little brisk which will make the 40 degree high feel cooler.

More sunshine on Sunday with temperatures reaching the mid 40s.

Dry and a little milder Monday and Tuesday with highs by Tuesday approaching 50 degrees.

A cold front may give us some showers on Tuesday night, this front will be followed by dry conditions with near or slightly above normal temperatures for the remainder of next week.

Dry and seasonably cool weather the next several days!


We have partly to mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures are similar to yesterday morning’s readings ranging from around 30 in the Clifton area to the mid 20s further inland, winds are from the west around 5-10 mph.

Today we will see more sunshine than the last few days with highs near 40.

A very pleasant mid December weekend is in store for us with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 40s.

Mild and dry weather early next week with highs reaching near 50 on Monday and Tuesday.

Somewhat cooler Wednesday and Thursday but still dry with highs in the 40s.

At this time there is no indications of any snowstorms or frigid weather for the next two weeks.
