Rain this morning tapering off to showers this afternoon and evening! Nice weather for Thursday! More rain likely on Friday!


Good morning everyone!    Light rain is falling across most of the area early this morning and there is considerable fog, temperatures are milder than the last few mornings ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are from the east.

A low pressure now over western North Carolina will move slowly through the area today; rain this morning may be heavy at times with a chance of some thunder.  The rain should taper off to showers this afternoon and end tonight, temperatures will not rise much with highs near 60.

A weak high pressure will be building into the area on Thursday giving us dry conditions and mild temperatures.

Another low will likely give us some rain on Friday.

Still a chance of showers on Saturday as a cold front crosses the area.  Dry weather is expected on Sunday with seasonably cool temperatures.

Dry weather should prevail early next week with a warming trend.

Good morning!   Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in Clifton down to 30 further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be moving off the coast and low pressure over the southeast states moves slowly up the coast.  We should see some sunshine this morning and temperatures should rise into the 60s by noon.  Then skies will become cloudy this afternoon with rain developing mainly after 8 p.m. tonight and continue into Wednesday.  The heaviest rain should fall between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m. tomorrow with a chance of thunderstorms.  Rainfall amounts should be between 1 and 1 1/2 inches.  The rain will taper off to showers tomorrow afternoon and should end in the evening.

Thursday looks to be a dry day with seasonably mild temperatures.

Unsettled weather Friday through the weekend with a chance of showers Friday night into early Saturday morning.

Good morning everyone!  With clear skies and mainly calm winds temperatures have fallen early this morning to the low 40s in Clifton but as chilly as the mid 20s well inland.

Another nice spring day today with again plenty of sunshine, light winds and temperatures again reaching well up into the 60s as high pressure will be in control of our weather.

Increasing cloudiness tonight and Tuesday will be a mostly cloudy day and slightly cooler as the high pressure moves off the coast and low pressure moves up from the south and west, rain from the system will develop at night and continue into Wednesday morning.  Rain may be heavy at times with an inch of rain possible.

Fair weather returns for Thursday and Friday but another weaker low may give us showers Friday night into Saturday.  Temperatures during this period should be near seasonable levels.

Pleasant spring weather to continue today into Monday! Rain late Tuesday night into Wednesday!


Good morning everyone!   Skies are mostly clear and with mainly calm winds there is a big range in temperatures early this morning with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to some middle 20s well inland.

Today will be another pleasant spring day with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures a degree or two higher than yesterday, winds will be light.  HIgh pressure will be moving closer to the area.

Another nice day with plenty of sunshine on Monday.

High pressure will be moving off the coast on Tuesday, during the day should stay dry but rain is expected to develop at night and continue possibly heavy at times into Wednesday as low pressure moves up the coast from the southeast states.

Unsettled weather to continue Thursday into next weekend with a chance of showers each day, temperatures will be at or slightly below normal.

Very pleasant spring weekend with milder temperatures and lighter winds along with plenty of sunshine!


Good morning everyone!   Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are once again quite chilly with readings ranging from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the cold low 20s in some inland areas, Walpack has fallen to 22 degrees.  The winds however are much lighter than the past few mornings.

Strong high pressure will be in control of our weather this weekend giving us finally some nice spring weather with plenty of sunshine both days, light winds and milder temperatures, highs will approach 60 degrees which is still a little below normal for this time of year.

Pleasant weather to continue Monday through the day on Tuesday as high pressure moves through the area.

Wet weather will return late Tuesday night into Wednesday as a low pressure from the south approaches our area, temperatures will be a little below normal.

Showers may persist Thursday and Friday as the low pressure moves slowly off the coast.
