Cloudy and cooler today with a low chance of showers! Dry and seasonably cool Monday and Tuesday! Warmer with a chance of showers on Wednesday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy across the area early this morning and there are some light showers or sprinkles in some spots, temperatures are mild ranging from the upper 60s in the Clifton area down to the upper 50s further inland, winds are calm or light northerly.

A front to our south with low pressure moving along it will cause cloudy skies today, there is a low chance of showers in our area but southern parts of New Jersey will have significant rainfall with 1-2 inches expected down there.  Temperatures will not rise much with the cloudy skies mainly topping out in the low 70s.

High pressure will build into the area on Monday with seasonably cool temperatures.   A little milder on Tuesday but staying dry as the high pressure moves off the coast and a southerly flow develops.

Warmer on Wednesday but there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front pushes through the area.

High pressure will be with us at the end of the week into the start of next weekend with dry conditions and seasonably mild temperatures.
