Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the middle 60s in Clifton down to some upper 50s further inland, the humidity is lower than the last few mornings with dew points near 60.  There has been some sprinkles in parts of the inland areas but most locations have remained dry.

Today will be much more comfortable with high temperatures about 10 degrees lower than yesterday, also the humidity will be lower with dew points dropping to the more comfortable 50s.  High pressure is building into the area from the north.  We should have mostly sunny skies after early morning cloudiness.

Friday will be more humid as a southerly flow develops ahead of a cold front, the front may cause a shower in the evening.

The front will sag south of us over the weekend and we should have dry conditions with temperatures near seasonable levels.

Dry weather is expected on Monday with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

More humid Tuesday into Wednesday along with a chance of showers as a front moves slowly into the area.

Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton down to some upper 50s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is still on the high side and there is some patchy fog in parts of the inland areas.

The remains of Florence has moved offshore and weak high pressure will build into the area, today we should see a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will be above normal and the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Tomorrow will be cooler and less humid and it will be dry as high pressure builds down from the north.

Warmer and more humid on Friday as a warm front moves to our north and then a cold front moves through from the west which may produce a shower or two at night.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry as the cold front moves slowly to our south and high pressure builds into the area.  Temperatures will be above normal on Saturday and slightly below normal on Sunday.    The normal high temperature now is 74 degrees.

Monday should be dry but there will be a chance of showers on Tuesday, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early this morning and it is unseasonably warm and humid with temperatures range from the mid 70s in Clifton down to around 70 further inland, dew points are in the oppressive 70s.    Some showers are occurring some heavy especially inland.

The remains of Florence are moving just to the north and west of our area and we will have a southerly flow of tropical air today.  Showers and possibly some thunderstorms today some of the rain may be heavy at times with some storms may possibly give some parts of the area up to an inch of hour.  The showers will be fast moving so no widespread flooding is likely.

A cold front will cross the area overnight tonight with cooler and less humid air behind it.  Wednesday will be dry with seasonably warm temperatures but less humid.

Dry weather will continue on Thursday with cooler temperatures.

Warm with increasing humidity on Friday ahead of another cold front that will cross the area at night but only producing a slight chance of a shower.

Dry weather is expected over the weekend, temperatures will be slightly above normal on Saturday and slightly below normal on Sunday.

Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s further inland.  The humidity is high and there is some patch fog in parts of the inland areas.

High pressure will be moving off the coast as the remains of Tropical Depression Florence moves slowly toward our area.   Today we will see an increase in clouds along with higher humidity.  Showers are possible tonight with most rain falling after midnight into Tuesday.  The rain may be heavy at times on Tuesday, rainfall amounts are expected to be between 1 and 1 1/2 inches.

High pressure will build into the area Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine both days with lower humidity, temperatures will be slightly above normal on Wednesday and be slightly below normal on Thursday.

Warmer on Friday ahead of a cold front that will pass through the area at night possibly accompanied by a shower.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures as the front moves slowly to our south and high pressure builds in from the north.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are similar to this time yesterday morning with readings ranging  from the mid 60s in Clifton down to the upper 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm and it is a little humid with dew points in the low to mid 60s.

High pressure will give us another nice day today with plenty of sunshine along with seasonably warm temperatures.

The high pressure will move offshore on Monday with an increase in clouds expected as the remains of Tropical cyclone Florence approach the area.  Rain should develop Monday night and continue into Tuesday, the rain may be heavy at times.   Rainfall amounts will average between 1 and 1/2 inches.  The humidity will rise with dew points climbing into the low 70s.

High pressure returns for Wednesday and continues into Thursday.  Wednesday will be warm and less humid and Thursday will be a little cooler.

A cold front is expected to move into the region late on Friday and move slowly south of us on Saturday.   Friday will be warm with some showers possible Friday night into Saturday morning.
