Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 20s in Clifton down to the low teens further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure building into the area will give us a partly sunny day, temperatures will be a little below normal but the winds will be light.

A weak warm front will move through the area tonight and Sunday should be a milder day, most high temperatures will be 10 degrees warmer than today.

Slightly cooler and dry on Monday.

A low pressure system moving into our area will give us some snow changing to rain on Tuesday and then back to snow Tuesday night as colder air moves into the area.

Much colder Arctic air is expected Wednesday through the end of next week, it should be mainly dry but some flurries are possible.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the low 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are from the west. Yesterday we received 1.56″ of rain.

Weak high pressure will build over the area today giving us a partly sunny day, winds will be a little brisk.

Mainly dry weather for the weekend, the only precipitation may be some snow showers inland Sunday morning. Temperatures will be cold on Saturday but become milder on Sunday.

Dry weather will continue during the day on Monday.

A disturbance will give us a good chance of precipitation on Tuesday with snow changing to rain during the day and then back to snow Tuesday night, at this time only light precipitation is expected.

Much colder Arctic air will move into our area on Wednesday and continue through the rest of next week.

Rain is falling over most of the area and temperatures are very mild with readings ranging from the mid 50s in Clifton down to some mid 30s well inland, winds are from the south. Temperatures are nearly 50 degrees warmer than this time Monday morning.

A low pressure system will be moving through the area today causing rain that may be heavy at times especially later this morning, temperatures will rise to near 60 degrees this morning but turn colder by sunset with temperatures falling into the 40s. The rain should end by sunset as the cold front with the system moves offshore. Clearing tonight and temperatures should fall to the upper 20s by daybreak tomorrow. Rainfall amounts will average 1 1/2 inches, a flash flood watch is in effect.

Mainly dry weather Friday through Sunday with only a slight chance of snow showers Sunday morning. Temperatures will be near normal on Friday, below normal on Saturday and then a little above normal on Sunday.

Mainly dry weather continuing on Monday with seasonable temperatures.

A weak low pressure system may give us some light rain on Tuesday possible beginning as some light snow in the morning.

Colder weather Wednesday through the end of next week.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are quite a bit milder than the last couple of mornings with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s in Clifton down to near 20 further inland, winds are light southerly.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day as a frontal system approaches our area, there is a chance of rain this afternoon that may fall as freezing rain well inland. Rain tonight into Thursday may be heavy at times, a flash flood watch has been issued. It will become quite mild Thursday morning with temperatures rising to well up into the 50s. A cold front associated with the system will cross the area Thursday afternoon ending the rain and it will become colder at night. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches expected.

Generally dry weather with temperatures a little below normal Friday and on Saturday. A weak disturbance may cause some snow showers on Sunday.

Unsettled weather Monday through Wednesday as a couple of weak systems move through.

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are not as cold as this time yesterday with readings ranging from 11 in Clifton down to 3 in Walpack, winds are lighter also coming in from the northwest averaging 10 mph.

Yesterday was one of the coldest days in the last few winters as the temperature ranged in Clifton from a low of 1 to a high of only 13, and with winds gusting to near 40 mph it felt like -20.

Today will not nearly be as harsh as yesterday with temperatures reaching near 30 which is still below normal. The winds will be much less as high pressure moves over our area.

A low pressure system will likely give us rain mainly from late Wednesday afternoon through Thursday, temperature will be above normal with highs at least well up into the 40s. Rain may be heavy at times, rainfall amounts averaging around 1.50″

Colder Friday through the weekend but not nearly as cold as the last couple of days. Models have backed away from any potential snowstorms with only a low chance of snow showers on Sunday.
