Light rain is falling over the area after having a very strong thunderstorm move through around 4:30 a.m. Temperatures that were near 70 just before the storms moved through the area, have dropped down to the upper 50s now in Clifton to the low 50s further inland. Gusty winds with the storms have now become lighter.

The cold front that caused the storms will be moving offshore and we will see some partial sunshine. High temperatures in the 60s this morning will drop to the 50s by late this morning and into the 40s by sunset. Winds will pick up and become strong with gusts to 45 mph possible, a wind advisory is in effect.

Tuesday will be a dry and cool day, winds will still be a little gusty but not as strong as today.

Wednesday will continue to be dry with seasonable temperatures as high pressure moves off the coast.

Unsettled weather Thursday into the weekend as a warm front slowly moves through the area followed by a cold front on Saturday. Some light rain is possible on Thursday with heavier rain and milder temperatures Friday into Saturday.

Most of Easter Sunday will be dry with seasonably mild temperatures but there may be a couple of showers in the morning.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are again unseasonably mild with readings ranging from the low 60s in Clifton to the mid 40s in some inland spots, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a mostly cloudy and cooler day, there is a chance of light rain or drizzle this afternoon.

A strong cold front will be approaching the area tonight and pass to our east tomorrow morning, showers and possibly a few strong thunderstorms tonight into early Monday morning, rainfall amounts of around an inch is expected with some higher amounts possible.

Monday will be a mostly cloudy day with still a chance of showers, it will become quite windy in the afternoon along with cooler temperatures.

Mainly dry and seasonably cool Tuesday through the day on Wednesday as weak high pressure moves into the area.

Unsettled weather Wednesday night through the beginning of the weekend as a warm front approaches the area and then moves to our north on Friday. Light rain is possible Wednesday night through the day on Thursday. Heavier showers and possibly thunderstorms on Friday along with warmer temperatures.

Still a chance of showers on Saturday with seasonably mild temperatures.

Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some showers falling. Temperatures are quite mild with readings ranging from around 60 in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland, winds are light from the south.

The showers affecting our area this morning will move offshore and we should see some partial sunshine by this afternoon, temperatures will be quite warm with readings well up into the 70s.

A cold front will move to our south tonight and Sunday will not be as warm as today, however the front will move to our north Sunday night. During the day on Sunday will be cloudy with some drizzle or light rain. Most of the rain from the frontal system will fall Sunday night into Monday morning, rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches are likely.

We dry out by Monday afternoon and temperatures will be seasonably mild however it will become windy.

High pressure will then give us dry conditions Tuesday and Wednesday, it will be windy on Tuesday with less wind on Wednesday, temperatures will be near normal.

Still another system will give us a good chance of showers Thursday and especially on Friday.

A warm front to our south will cause cloudy skies today, there is a slight chance of drizzle but most of the day will be dry. The front will move to our north tonight with showers from this evening ending early tomorrow morning, overnight lows will only fall into the 50s. Rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch likely.

Tomorrow will be a warm day despite having mostly cloudy skies.

High pressure building in from the northwest will give us a partly sunny day, temperatures will be slightly cooler today due to an onshore wind from the cooler ocean.

A frontal system approaching the area will give our area showers Friday night into very early Saturday morning, temperatures will be milder. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/4 of an inch.

Saturday looks to be a very mild day, despite mostly cloudy skies temperatures are expected to reach the 70s.

Another frontal system and low pressure will give us more rain Sunday afternoon into Monday, this system will be wetter with rainfall amounts up to an inch is possible.
