Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is milder than the last couple of mornings with temperatures ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are light.

Overnight showers dropped .07 inches of rain in Clifton.

A weak cold front will move to our south but sunshine will return and with a westerly flow temperatures will still reach the mild 70s.

The front to our south will move to our north as a warm front on Friday, it will be warmer but there will be a chance of showers mainly in the afternoon, rainfall totals should be light.

The weekend will be mainly dry with seasonably mild temperatures, a cold front may cause some showers late Sunday into Monday, temperatures will be warm Sunday and Monday.

Rather pleasant springtime weather Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine both days along with seasonably mild temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and it is again unseasonably cool with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be building into our area from the southeast states and after a few days of rainy and chilly weather, today will be milder with plenty of sunshine, high temperature will be around 70 which is close to normal.

A weak cold front will give us a chance of showers late tonight into the early morning hours of Thursday.

During the day on Thursday we should again see sunshine with seasonably mild temperatures.

Another weak cold front will likely cause more showers on Friday from late morning into the evening, however temperatures will be warm.

At this point the weekend still looks to be quite nice with dry conditions and mild temperatures.

Another front will give us a chance of showers on Monday, follow by dry and mild weather on Tuesday.

We have cloudy skies early on this Tuesday morning and there is some drizzle falling, temperatures are chilly once again with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are light northerly.

Yesterday we recorded .81 inches of rain. The high of 47 degrees was the lowest maximum temperature on record for May 13th.

Today will be another cloudy and cool day with some drizzle this morning and showers likely this afternoon, temperatures may be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. A low pressure is moving off the coast as an upper level low moves through our area.

High pressure will cause some welcomed sunshine tomorrow with milder temperatures, however a weak front may give us showers after midnight.

Mainly dry with seasonable temperatures Thursday into Friday but another weak front may cause a shower Friday afternoon.

Excellent weather is expected for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days along with warmer temperatures.

Another front may kick off a shower Monday morning.

Yesterday we received 1.54″ of rain.

Another low pressure developing off the North Carolina coast will be moving along the coast to our area by tonight. More rain will develop by this afternoon and may become heavy at times, additional rain of up to one inch is likely. Temperatures will continue to be unseasonably cool.

Tuesday will be continued cool with a chance of mainly light showers.

Milder and mainly dry on Wednesday but a cold front may cause some showers at night.

After a dry Thursday there will be a chance of showers again on Friday, temperatures will be near seasonably levels.

Finally it now looks like we will get some constantly dry and warmer weather this weekend into next week.

Rain is falling across the area early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from near 50 in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are brisk out of the east.

Low pressure moving along a front to our south will cause periods of rain today, it will be chilly with most temperatures only in the upper 40s.

There may be a brief break in the rain Monday morning but another low pressure along the front will cause the rain to redevelop in the afternoon, temperatures will continue to be unseasonably cool.

Tuesday will still be cool with showers still likely.

Wednesday may be the best day of the week with milder temperatures and more sunshine.

Seasonable temperatures Thursday into Saturday but a couple of weak fronts may cause more showers.
