Rain is falling across the area early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are a little brisk out of the east.

The storm system will be moving offshore and the rain should end by around 8 a.m. It will remain mostly cloudy this afternoon. Temperatures will remain steady in the mid to upper 40s.

Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures much of next week with only some flurries possible Monday and again on Wednesday as a couple of weak cold fronts move through our area.

At this time there is no sign of any major snowstorms or frigid Arctic air through the end of this month.

We will have our first precipitation in 11 days tonight as a frontal system will move into our area by this afternoon, which will cause rain this evening through Saturday morning, rainfall amounts will be near 1 inch.

Sunday looks to be a breezy day with temperatures a little above normal.
