A frontal system is slowly approaching our area from the west and we will have periods of rain today and tonight. Temperatures will be mild with highs in the 40s.
The front will move to our east Friday morning and colder air will be moving into our area, with rain changing to freezing rain and sleet by the afternoon and end by evening. The question is how much colder air will move in before the precipitation changes. At this time little or no ice accumulation is expected in our area but higher amounts are likely to our north and west.
Cold high pressure will be with us over the weekend providing us with plenty of sunshine both days but temperatures will be below normal.
Quiet weather Monday through Wednesday with near seasonable temperatures.
