Skies are mostly cloudy early on the Monday morning and it is very mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 61 in Clifton down to 43 at Sandyston. Winds are from the southwest around 5-10 mph.

Another unseasonably mild day today with some more record high temperatures expected as a strong southwesterly flow continues, highs will mainly be in the low 70s. A strong cold front will cross the area tonight preceded and accompanied by some strong winds, heavy rain and even a rumble of thunder mainly between 4-10 p.m., some wind gusts to 40 mph possible.

Clearing and much cooler on Tuesday as temperatures fall to near normal for this time of year. It will still be breezy with some gusts to 25 mph.

A weak disturbance moving along the coast will give us a good chance of rain during the day on Wednesday, some of the rain may be mixed with snow in the morning.

Mainly dry weather Thursday into Friday with temperatures slightly above normal.

Another strong frontal system will likely give us rain on Saturday along with mild temperatures followed by clearing and colder weather for Sunday.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers likely and possibly at thunderstorm mainly before 10 p.m. wind gusts to 40 mph possible, clearing later at night, low in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – MAR 8 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 9 – Cloudy with a chance of rain, may be mixed with snow in the morning, high in the mid 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 10 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

FRIDAY – MAR 11 – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 50s, showers likely at night.

SATURDAY – MAR 12– Mostly cloudy with showers likely, high in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY – MAR 13 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high only near 40.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday night through Friday.
