High pressure will give us a mostly sunny day today, although a weak cold front moving through may touch off a pop up shower this afternoon or evening, but much of the area will remain dry with pleasant temperatures and humidity.

The nice weather will continue Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine both days with continued seasonably cool temperatures and low humidity.

Humidity slowly rises on Thursday as a slow moving frontal system approaches; there will be a chance of showers at night.

The frontal system will give us a good chance of showers Friday into Saturday along with higher humidity.

Sunday looks to be a nice summer day with comfortable temperatures and lower humidity.

Finally some relief from the heat of the last few days as a cold front has moved offshore and high pressure builds in from the west. Today we will have plenty of sunshine along with cooler and much drier air as highs will be only in the low 80s and dew points in the comfortable 50s.

Mainly dry and seasonably cool weather with continued low humidity Monday through Wednesday, although there is a slight chance of a shower on Monday.

One more day of heat and humidity as a cold front approaches our area today and moves offshore tonight. There may be a shower this morning but most of the showers and thunderstorms will be from around 3 to 9 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny and temperatures once again will rise to the 90s and with dew points in the 70s the heat index will rise to between 100-105 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.

Finally much cooler and drier air will move into our area on Sunday as high pressure builds into our area.

Very nice summer weather Monday through Wednesday with slightly below normal temperatures along with comfortable humidity.

Shower chances increase Thursday and especially Friday as a frontal system moves through the area; temperatures will remain near normal but the humidity will increase.

Another hot and humid day today as the offshore Bermuda high continues a southwest flow. We should remain dry today with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be mainly in the mid 90s and with dew points in the 70s the heat index will rise to near 105 degrees.

A slow moving cold front will cross the area late in the day on Saturday, we should have another hot and humid day, but showers and thunderstorms are likely.

High pressure will then build into our area for Sunday with much cooler and less humid air along with mostly sunny skies.

What may be the best stretch of weather this summer will be with us much of next week with seasonably cool temperatures and low humidity.

High pressure ridge offshore will give us a southwest flow of very hot and humid air today. High temperatures will be well up into the 90s and with dew points in the low 70s will push heat indexes to above 105. An excessive heat warning is in effect. Also there is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms mainly between 4-7 p.m. with damaging winds and heavy rain possible.

Another very hot and humid day on Friday and the excessive heat warning will continue to be in effect as temperatures again will be in the upper 90s with high dewpoints and heat indexes of 105 or more. However we should stay rain free.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday, temperatures may be a few degrees lower but the humidity will be somewhat higher. The front will be associated with some showers and thunderstorms, some may again be quite strong.

Sunday will be cooler with lower humidity by the afternoon. It should remain dry but there is still a slight chance of an afternoon shower.

Very pleasant weather Monday through Wednesday with cool temperatures and low humidity.
