Mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler today! Dry and milder with much less wind Thursday and Friday! Warmer over the weekend with a chance of showers on Saturday! Cooler early next week with a chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from 44 in Clifton down to 34 at High Point. Winds are gusty out of the west. The air quality is good with an index of 28.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR APRIL 16TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 61 AVERAGE LOW: 42

RECORD HIGH: 89 – 2012 RECORD LOW: 28 – 2014

YESTERDAY’S HIGH 70 LOW: 47 PRECIPITATION: .03″

The pressure gradient between a low pressure north of Maine and high pressure building from the west will give us a brisk northwest flow of dry and cool air. Skies will be mostly cloudy. Wind gusts to near 40 mph possible. Winds will diminish tonight.

Thursday and Friday will be dry and milder with less wind as high pressure builds closer to our area. There may be more clouds on Friday as a warm front approaches our area from the southwest.

The high pressure will move off the coast on the weekend and we will have warmer air. A weak cold front passing through the area on Saturday will give us a low chance of some showers.

Not as warm early next week and another front may cause some showers Monday night into Tuesday.
