Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and with calm winds there is a rather large spread of temperatures with readings ranging from 42 in Clifton down to 28 at Pequest and Sandyston. The air quality is moderate with an index of 53.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us a brisk southerly flow of mild air today along with mostly sunny skies.

Very warm on Saturday with highs well up into the 80s. Winds will still be brisk from the west-southwest. A cold front may touch off a couple of showers Saturday evening.

Easter Sunday will be quite pleasant with seasonably mild temperatures as high pressure builds into our area.

Monday will be cooler with more of an onshore flow. A warm front may cause some showers Monday night.

High pressure will then build into our area for Tuesday through Thursday giving us mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures, the highs each day should be in the low 70s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy, lows in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – APR 19 – Partly sunny, breezy and warm, highs in the low 80s, wind gusts to 30 mph possible. Chance of an evening shower.

EASTER SUNDAY – APR 20 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – APR 21 – Partly sunny, highs near 60. Chance of showers at night.

TUESDAY – APR 22 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 23 – Sunny, highs in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – APR 24 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. this afternoon through 6 p.m. Saturday evening for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories are expected Sunday through Tuesday.
