Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are much cooler this morning with readings ranging from 45 in Clifton down to 39 at High Point. Winds are light mainly from the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 22.

High pressure will build over the area today giving us mostly sunny skies, cool temperatures and much less wind than the last couple of days.
A complex low pressure system will give us rain with quite cool temperatures Wednesday and Thursday and with gusty easterly winds it will feel quite miserable. Rainfall amounts will average between an inch to an inch and a half.
The upper level low will be slow to move out of our area so there still will be a chance of showers Friday and Saturday with continued cool temperatures.
Dry and not as cool Sunday and on Memorial Day as high pressure builds into our area.
