A low pressure system will be moving into our area today giving us cloudy skies with rain developing by noon and becoming steady and heavier tonight through the day on Thursday. High temperatures will stay steady in the 50s.

The rain will taper off to showers Thursday night with still a chance of showers on Friday. High temperatures on Friday will be a couple of degrees milder but be below normal.

High pressure will try to build into our area keeping our area dry for the holiday weekend but temperatures will continue to be below normal for late May.

Another low pressure system will give us a chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday.

High pressure will build over the area today giving us mostly sunny skies, cool temperatures and much less wind than the last couple of days.

A complex low pressure system will give us rain with quite cool temperatures Wednesday and Thursday and with gusty easterly winds it will feel quite miserable. Rainfall amounts will average between an inch to an inch and a half.

The upper level low will be slow to move out of our area so there still will be a chance of showers Friday and Saturday with continued cool temperatures.

Dry and not as cool Sunday and on Memorial Day as high pressure builds into our area.

Low pressure off the Maine coast along with high pressure building from the northwest will combine and give us a brisk northwest flow of dry air. Wind gusts to 35 mph are possible. With sunny skies high temperatures will be near normal.

Lighter winds on Tuesday but we will see an increase in clouds as a low pressure system approaches from the west.

The low pressure will be in our area Wednesday and Thursday giving us periods of rain with cool temperatures. Rainfall amounts will average between 1 and 1 1/2″ High temperatures both days will be only in the 50s.

The upper low will still give us considerable cloudiness Friday into Saturday along with a chance of showers. High temperatures will not be as chilly.

High pressure will then build into the area for Sunday and on Memorial Day giving us dry conditions and slowly moderating temperatures.

A brisk southwest flow will bring warmer and still humid air into our area today. Skies will become mostly sunny after early cloudiness. A cold front will come through tonight possibly accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday will be breezy, cooler and much less humid as high pressure builds into the area.

The high pressure will give us mostly sunny skies both Monday and Tuesday with near normal temperatures. Monday will still be on the breezy side with less wind on Tuesday.

A frontal system moving into our area will likely give us showers mainly Wednesday afternoon through Thursday night. Temperatures will be quite cool.
