Another very warm morning under mostly clear skies on this Wednesday. Temperatures range from 79 in Clifton down to 66 at Sandyston. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 60.

One last day of extreme heat today as the high pressure dome weakens and a cold front approaches from the north. Skies will be sunny with highs well up into the 90s with more record highs likely. The cold front will sag through our area tonight possibly accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms mainly this evening.

Thursday will be a mostly cloudy day and much cooler with an onshore wind. There will still be a chance of some showers during the day and evening.

Cloudy and even cooler on Friday with a continued onshore flow of marine air. High temperatures will only rise to the low 70s. Most of the day will be dry but some showers are possible at night.

The front to our south will move to our north as a warm front and the weekend will be warmer but with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.

Quite warm early next week but not nearly as hot as we just experienced. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday with showers more likely on Tuesday as a cold front approaches our area.
