After having the hottest three day period ever recorded in June and the hottest of any month since 2012 today will have relief as a cold front moves to our south and we will have an onshore flow of cooler air. Daytime highs today will not rise much from our early morning lows with highs mainly in the low 80s. There will be a low chance of showers this afternoon and at night.
Friday will even be cooler as the onshore flow continues. Skies will be mostly cloudy and there will be a low chance of late afternoon and nighttime showers and thunderstorms.
Looks like another weekend with some precipitation as a warm front moves to our north which will likely give us showers and thunderstorms on Saturday with a lesser chance of showers on Sunday.
Seasonably warm early next week with a chance of showers on Monday, then showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Tuesday as a cold front moves through our area.
High pressure will then give us a dry and warm day on Wednesday.
There is no sign of a return of the intense heat we just had for at leas another two weeks.
