Skies are mostly fair early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are warmer than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 71 in Clifton down to 60 at Sandyston and Hackettstown. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 68.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us a southwest flow of hot air today, the humidity will be a little higher than the last two days with dew points in the 60s.
Very humid and quite warm Monday and Tuesday. The remains of Tropical Storm Chantal is expected to dissipate off the Carolina’s but we will still have quite a tropical airmass which will likely cause showers and thunderstorms both days. The rain may be heavy at times. Dew points both days will be in the uncomfortable 70s.
During the day on Wednesday it should be dry and quite warm and humid, but another frontal system will give us a chance of showers at night.
The front will be just to our south Thursday through Saturday and we should still have a chance of showers, but with more clouds the high temperatures will be a little lower and it should remain humid.
