A weak frontal system in our area today will give us a cloudy day today with showers likely and possibly some thunderstorms. With the clouds the high temperatures today will be cooler but it will remain quite humid.
The front will remain nearly stationary Friday through the early part of next week. Skies will be partly cloudy through this period with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each day. It will remain humid as we approach the dog days of summer. High temperatures will be mainly in the 80s Friday through Monday then rise to near 90 Tuesday and Wednesday.
