High pressure off the Nova Scotia coast will give us a light southeast flow of seasonably warm air this weekend. Skies will be partly sunny both days with only a slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm mainly across inland areas. The humidity will remain high with dew points in the upper 60s to near 70.
A frontal system will likely give us showers and possibly some thunderstorms on Monday. Temperatures will continue to be seasonably warm but it will become more humid.
Hot and humid weather is expected Tuesday through the end of next week with highs in the 90s along with dew points in the low 70s. Tuesday should be dry but there will be a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday with showers more likely on Friday as a cold front approaches our area.
