Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and it is muggy again with temperatures ranging from 71 in Clifton down to 67 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 36.

Yesterday the Clifton area only received .78″ of rain while areas around us had torrential rain and flooding. The Plainfield area received 6-7″ of rain while Nanuet in Rockland County had over 5″ of rainfall most of it falling in only two hours.
Today will be a much quieter day with only a slight chance of showers. It will continue to be quite warm and humid as a weak front will be in our area.
Continued very warm and humid Wednesday and Thursday with a chance of more showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches the area.
The front will slowly move through the area on Friday giving us another chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
Drier and less hot weather for Saturday as weak high pressure builds into the area.
The risk of showers and thunderstorms return for Sunday and Monday as another front approaches our area.
