Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some light showers in some areas. Temperatures range from 68 in Clifton down to 64 at Hackettstown and Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 38.

A weak front will be moving through the area this morning giving us cloudy skies with a low chance of a shower. Today will be warm but becoming less humid by this afternoon.
Dry with seasonably cool temperatures and low humidity Tuesday through Thursday as high pressure builds over the area.
A weak cold front will give us a chance of a shower on Friday.
High pressure will then build into the area for the Labor Day weekend giving us dry weather with near seasonable temperatures.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 10 p.m. tonight. Winds southwest to 15 knots, seas 4-6 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is 73 degrees. There is a continued HIGH threat of dangerous rip currents.
OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Tuesday through Friday.
