Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 54 in Clifton down to 43 at Sandyston. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 22.

A large high pressure building from the Midwest will give us a sunny and seasonable cool day with sunshine, light winds and low humidity.
The high pressure will continue to dominate our weather Sunday and on Labor Day with continued mostly sunny skies and low humidity. Temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than today.
High pressure will be over our area Tuesday and Wednesday and we will continue to have plenty of sunshine along with near normal temperatures.
A slow moving frontal system will give us our next chance of rain Thursday night into the start of next weekend.
