Light rain is falling over much of the area early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 60 in Clifton down to 55 at High Point. Winds are light from the north. The air quality is moderate with an index of 52.

The Clifton area missed much of the severe weather or flooding rains yesterday.
A weak low pressure along the front that moved to our southeast yesterday evening will continue to give us light rain this morning with clearing by later this afternoon. Temperatures will be cool with most highs in the low 70s.
Much of the rest of the week will be dry. Temperatures will be a bit below normal. High pressure will dominate our weather. Thursday may be a little warmer but a cold front will come through dry at night. Friday should be cooler as another high pressure builds from the northwest.
