Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 50 in Clifton down to 38 at Basking Ridge, Sandyston and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 43.

The Canadian high pressure will move over the area today providing plenty of sunshine along with near normal temperatures and light winds.

As the high moves to the south we will have a return southwest flow of unseasonably warm air this weekend extending into early next week with highs each day in the low to mid 80s.

Showers are likely on Wednesday as a cold front moves through our area.

Cooler and mainly dry Thursday and Friday as another high pressure dominates our weather.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 8 – Mostly cloudy and not as warm with showers likely, highs in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – OCT 9 – Sunny and cool, highs in the mid 60s.
