The coastal storm that has been giving us rain and strong winds will continue to affect our area today and tonight. Overnight rains last night totaled around an inch and we can expect another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of rainfall. Winds will continue to gust to 35 mph in the Clifton area and over 50 mph at shore locations where moderate to major coastal flooding is occurring.
The low will weaken then move offshore on Tuesday, with clearing, but it still will be rather breezy.
High pressure will give us a nice day on Wednesday with slightly above normal temperatures; a cold front will come through dry at night.
Thursday and Friday will be dry and cool as a Canadian high pressure builds into the area.
As this high moves offshore we will have a return southwesterly flow of milder air for the weekend.
