Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 49 in Clifton down to 43 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty our of the southwest. The air quality is good with an index of 24.

The storm that gave us the well needed rain is moving off to our north and east and we will have a mostly sunny day but very windy this afternoon and evening for the trick or treaters. Wind gusts to 45 mph are possible and a wind advisory is in effect. Temperatures will be near seasonable with highs mostly in the upper 50s, which is much cooler than the 84 degrees we had last Halloween.
The weekend weather will be dry with near normal temperatures, Saturday will be breezy with less winds on Sunday.
Monday will be dry during the day but a weak cold front may touch off some showers Monday night.
Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures through the rest of next week but another weak cold front may give us some showers Wednesday night.
