Rain Saturday night into Sunday morning followed by clearing Sunday afternoon and becoming windy! Mainly dry and cool weather much of next week!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 38 in Clifton down to 30 at Hackettstown. Winds are mainly light from the west. The air quality is good with an index of 27.

High pressure over Kentucky will give us a partly sunny day today but we should have more clouds than sun this afternoon. Temperatures will be seasonable cool and it will still be a little breezy with gusts 20-25 mph.

Saturday will become cloudy by the afternoon with light winds. A frontal system is expected to give us mainly light rain from tonight into Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts should be less than 1/4″

The cold front associated with the low pressure system is expected to move offshore Sunday morning followed by clearing and becoming windy in the afternoon. Temperatures will be a little above normal.

High pressure will then dominate our weather for most if not all of next week with dry conditions and seasonably cool temperatures.
