Good morning everyone!
Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are quite cold with readings ranging from 18 in Clifton (the coldest since March 3rd) to a frigid 7 degrees at High Point and Sandyston. Winds have diminished from the gusty winds that we had last night coming from the north at less than 10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 26.
CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR DECEMBER 5TH:
AVERAGE HIGH: 47 AVERAGE LOW: 30
RECORD HIGH: 68 – 2001 RECORD LOW: 16 – 1989 12.0″ of snow in 2003.

Strong high pressure building into our area will give us quite cold weather but with much less wind than yesterday. High temperatures will struggle to reach the freezing mark. We will have an increase in clouds as a low pressure moves well south of our area which will only give us a slight chance of some flurries tonight.
Not as cold over the weekend with light winds, we should remain dry through the day on Sunday. A strong cold front will cross the area Sunday night possibly accompanied by some light snow or flurries.
Very cold weather Monday and Tuesday as an Arctic high pressure builds over the area. Winds will be gusty on Monday with less wind on Tuesday.
Milder Wednesday and Thursday but there will be a chance of rain both days as a low pressure system approaches our area.
