Mostly sunny and not quite as cold or windy today! Milder on Wednesday with light rain possibly beginning as snow! Dry with cooler temperatures Thursday through the day on Friday! Chances of snow Friday night and again Saturday night! Much colder again Sunday into early next week!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite cold with temperatures ranging from 15 in Clifton down to a chilly 3 degrees at Sandyston. Winds are light from the north. The air quality is good with an index of 16.

The Arctic high pressure will be over the area today giving us mostly sunny skies and still very cold temperatures but with much less wind today.

A low pressure system will likely give us light rain during the day on Wednesday likely beginning as snow especially over inland areas where an inch may accumulate. Temperatures will be milder with highs in the 40s which is normal for this time of year. Southerly winds will become gusty in the afternoon. A cold front will come through at night.

Thursday and Friday will be cold and dry as high pressure builds over the area.

Then the weather becomes more unsettled with a couple of low pressure areas which will give us chances of snow Friday night and again Saturday night.

Much colder but dry Sunday through early next as another Arctic high pressure builds over the area.

THURSDAY – DEC 11 – Mostly sunny and breezy, highs in the upper 30s.

FRIDAY – DEC 12 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 30s, chance of snow at night.

SATURDAY – DEC 13 – Partly sunny, highs near 40, chance of snow at night.

SUNDAY – DEC 14 – Partly sunny and colder, highs in the low 30s.

MONDAY – DEC 15 – Mostly sunny and quite cold, highs near 30.
