Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from 35 in Clifton down to 25 at High Point. Winds are gusty out of the west. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR DECEMBER 11TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 45 AVERAGE LOW: 28

RECORD HIGH: 65 – 2021 RECORD LOW: 6 – 1988

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 44 LOW: 29 PRECIPITATION: .17″

Strong low pressure over eastern parts of Canada along with high pressure building in from the west will combine to give us a strong westerly flow of colder air today. Temperatures should not rise much above the early morning lows despite having mostly sunny skies. Wind gusts to 40 mph will possibly make it feel even colder.

Mostly sunny and still cold on Friday, but as the high pressure builds over the area winds will diminish.

Saturday will be seasonably cool and we will have an increase in clouds during the day.

Light snow is becoming more likely for Sunday morning and we may have an inch or two of accumulation followed by colder air.

Cold and dry early next week as high pressure builds over the area.

It appears now that Wednesday through Friday will be milder and we should remain mainly dry.
