A strong frontal system will affect our area mainly from tonight through Friday morning with rain heavy at times with even a chance of some thunderstorms. A strong southerly flow will boost temperatures well up into the 50s by Friday morning with some record high temperatures possible. The front will be followed by a strong westerly flow of colder air, we should have some clearing by the afternoon with temperatures dropping to near 40 by sunset.

The weekend weather looks to be much quieter as weak high pressure moves into the area, there will be a couple of fronts move through but no precipitation is expected. Temperatures will be slightly below normal on Saturday then rise to slightly above normal on Sunday.

Monday should be colder but not nearly as cold as we had earlier this week.
