Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 32 in Clifton down to 28 at Hackettstown. Winds are light from the southwest. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

A cold front will come through this morning followed by clearing by later this morning and it will be breezy. High temperatures will be at or slightly higher than normal.
High pressure will be over the area on Monday giving us a mostly sunny day with cooler temperatures and lighter winds.
A warm front moving through on Tuesday will likely give us some light snow mainly in the morning, accumulations will be near an inch in the Clifton area but higher amounts across the higher elevations to our north and west.
High pressure will then build into the area on Wednesday giving us a mostly sunny day with seasonable mild temperatures.
A couple of weak disturbances may touch off some light rain on Christmas Day with a better chance of some showers on Friday. Temperatures will be a bit above normal.
At this point next weekend looks to be dry with near normal temperatures.

CHRISTMAS DAY – DEC 25 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain, highs in the mid 40s.
FRIDAY – DEC 26 – Cloudy with a chance of rain, highs in the upper 40s.
SATURDAY – DEC 27 – Partly sunny, highs near 40.
