Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and light snow or flurries are falling in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 24 in Clifton down to 15 at High Point. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 33.

A weak disturbance is giving us some light snow this morning and will move offshore as high pressure builds into the area. Skies will become mostly sunny with high temperatures a little higher than the past couple of days, winds will be light.

High pressure will then build into the area on Monday but another weak disturbance will give us a slight chance of snow mainly in the afternoon.

Tuesday will be milder despite mostly cloudy skies. A warm front will give us a chance of rain Tuesday night that may be freezing rain across the higher elevations to our north and west.

Mild and dry Wednesday through the day on Thursday but a frontal system will give us a chance of rain Thursday night through the day on Saturday.
