Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings with readings ranging from 32 in Clifton down to 24 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 53.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with light winds and high temperatures a few degrees milder than yesterday. A weak disturbance will give us a chance of rain tonight that may be freezing rain across the higher elevations to our north and west.

A weak cold front will come through our area Wednesday morning but temperatures behind the front are actually mild with Pacific air. Breezy conditions during the day with gusts to 25 mph.

Thursday may be the best weather day of the week as high pressure builds into our area and we will have mild temperatures with less wind.

A frontal system will likely give us rain Friday into Saturday along with mild temperatures.

High pressure building behind the frontal system will give us dry and cooler weather for Sunday into Monday.
