Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and some flurries are falling in some areas. Temperatures are about 10 degrees milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 29 in Clifton down to 21 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 39.

A weak cold front approaching from the west will cause some light snow this morning possible changing to light rain before ending this afternoon. Snowfall amounts should be near an inch in the Clifton area with somewhat higher amounts to our north and west.
Computer models now have the coastal low moving a little further to our west so now we have a 50% chance of some light snow. This time most of the snow will to our east with little or no snow to our west.
Next week looks to be mainly dry and cold. The coldest air will be Monday night through Tuesday night with overnight lows in the low teens while daytime highs will only in the low 20s. Some moderation in temperatures on Thursday.
