Dry and continued quite cold Monday and Tuesday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from 27 in Clifton down to 15 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR FEBRUARY 4TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 38 AVERAGE LOW: 22

RECORD HIGH: 63 – 2019 RECORD LOW: 1 – 2023

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 35 LOW: 16 PRECIPITATION: NONE

A weak disturbance is causing cloudy skies early this morning but we should see clearing today with seasonably cold temperatures and light winds as high pressure builds over the area.

High pressure will continue to give us dry weather on Thursday with again seasonably cold temperatures and light winds.

Friday will be dry during the day but an Arctic cold front will be approaching at night possibly accompanied by some light snow or snow showers that may produce a dusting.

Dangerously cold this weekend and it may be the coldest air of the season as low pressure moves offshore and in combination with an Arctic high pressure will give us strong winds and frigid temperatures. Some wind gusts may approach 50 mph in some areas, wind chills may fall to -20 degrees especially on Saturday. However we should stay dry.

Dry weather and not quite as frigid early next week.
