Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and once again it is bitter cold with readings ranging from 7 in Clifton down to -5 at Walpack. Winds are from the northwest averaging 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 27.

The Arctic high pressure over the area today will give us a sunny day with much less wind that we experienced over the weekend. Also with plenty of sunshine it will not be as frigid as highs approach the 30 degree mark which is still below normal. Winds will be a little gusty this morning but diminish by this afternoon.
A weak warm front followed by a weak cold front will give us a slight chance of snow Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Dry weather with seasonably cold but not frigid air Wednesday through Saturday.
Low pressure may approach our area on Sunday giving our area a chance of rain or snow.
