The severe coastal storm is now off the New Jersey coast and will move south of Cape Cod by tonight. Snow bands associated with this storm will cause additional accumulations of around 6 inches with higher amounts possible. The snow will taper off this afternoon and should end by sunset. Winds will gust to over 45 mph at times which will cause more blowing and drifting snow.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and cold day with diminishing winds by the afternoon.
A frontal system will likely give us some snow Wednesday morning changing to rain in the afternoon, any snow accumulations will be light.
A somewhat stronger system will likely give us rain mainly Thursday evening again possibly beginning as snow.
Friday should be dry with near normal temperatures.
The weekend looks to be dry with milder temperatures. Unlike the storm in January no Arctic air has followed this storm so our snow pack will not last nearly as long.
