Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some fog in parts of the area. With temperatures at or below freezing there may be some black ice in some spots and a Special Weather Statement has been issued. Temperatures range from 32 in Clifton down to 19 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 65.

A southwest flow will bring milder temperatures today with highs approaching the 50 degree mark along with mostly sunny skies and light winds.

An Arctic cold front will cross the area early Sunday morning followed by colder air along with snow showers that may give us a dusting of snow.

Quite cold on Monday but dry as the Arctic high pressure builds over the area.

A few areas of low pressure will give us unsettled weather Tuesday through Friday. Some rain is expected each day possibly starting as some snow on Tuesday. Temperatures will be cool on Tuesday but rise to above normal the rest of the week.

TUESDAY – MAR 3 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain possibly beginning as snow in the morning, highs near 40.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 4 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain mainly in the morning, highs near 50.

THURSDAY – MAR 5 – Cloudy with a chance of rain, highs near 50.

FRIDAY – MAR 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, highs in the low 50s.
