Good morning everyone!
Skies are mainly clear early on this Tuesday morning and with calm winds there is again a large spread in temperatures with readings ranging from 51 in Clifton down to 31 at Walpack. The air quality is moderate with an index of 54.

A Bermuda high pressure offshore will continue to give us a light southwesterly flow of unseasonably warm air today with some record high temperatures possible as high temperatures rise to well up into the 70s.
Wednesday will not be as warm but still well above normal. We will have a chance of showers in the afternoon with showers likely at night along with an increase in winds as a strong cold front approaches our area.
The strong cold front will cross our area Thursday morning accompanied by showers which may mix with wet snow before ending Thursday evening.
Much cooler on Friday as high pressure builds over the area. Early morning lows will be near freezing and highs in the 40s which is near normal.
Most of the weekend will be dry with slightly above normal temperatures. A frontal system approaching our area will give us rain Sunday night into Monday.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 11 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers in the afternoon becoming breezy, highs near 70. Showers likely at night.
THURSDAY – MAR 12 – Mostly cloudy, breezy and colder with rain showers possibly mixed with snow before ending in the evening, early highs near 60 in the morning dropping to the low 40s by sunset.
FRIDAY – MAR 13 – Increasing cloudiness, highs in the upper 40s.
SATURDAY – MAR 14 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 50s.
SUNDAY – MAR 15 – Cloudy, highs in the mid 50s, rain at night.
MONDAY – MAR 16 – Rain, highs in the upper 50s.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly winds to 10 knots, seas 2 feet. Dense fog advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. this morning.
