Cool and breezy today with an increase in clouds! Dry weather with near seasonable temperatures on the weekend, windy on Saturday, still breezy on Sunday! Mild on Monday with showers and thunderstorms! Dry and much colder Tuesday and Wednesday. Dry and not as cool on Thursday!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are much cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 30 in Clifton down to 22 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 28.

Today will be cool and breezy with an increase in clouds as a weak frontal system moves through our area, there is a slight chance of some flurries but most areas will remain dry.

High pressure will then keep our area dry for the weekend. Saturday will be a windy day with some wind gusts to 35 mph and still breezy on Sunday with gusts to 25 mph.

Monday will be mild with heavy rain and thunderstorms along with strong winds as a frontal system moves through our area.

Dry and much cooler Tuesday and Wednesday with a moderation in temperatures on Thursday as a Canadian high pressure dominates our weather.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening becoming mostly clear after midnight, breezy, lows in the upper 30s, wind gust to 25 mph.

SATURDAY – MAR 14 – Sunny and windy, highs in the low 50s, wind gusts to 35 mph.

SUNDAY – MAR 15 – Mostly cloudy and breezy, highs in the upper 40s, wind gusts to 25 mph.

MONDAY – MAR 16 – Rain, breezy and mild with possible thunderstorms, highs in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – MAR 17 – Partly sunny, highs in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 18 – Mostly sunny, highs near 40.

THURSDAY – MAR 19 – Mostly cloudy, highs in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from noon today through 6 p.m. Saturday evening for southerly winds today switching the the west on Saturday gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected for Saturday night through the day on Sunday; advisories Sunday night through Monday night with some gale gusts possible; advisories still probable for Tuesday.
