Mostly sunny and milder today with light winds! Continued seasonably mild on Friday with increasing clouds! Rain heavy at times and windy on Saturday possibly changing to snow before ending! Windy and very chilly on Sunday! Spring like weather much of next week!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 30 in Clifton down to 21 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm. Black ice is possible on untreated roads and sidewalks so be careful going outside early this morning.

Weak high pressure in our area will give us mostly sunny skies today which will help melt much of the snowfall from yesterday. It will be milder with highs near 50 and with light winds it will be a pleasant March day.

Friday will be dry and continued seasonably mild with some increasing cloudiness by evening.

A very strong storm will be with us on Saturday with rain developing by daybreak and becoming heavy at times. A cold front with this system will move to our east in the afternoon and some of the precipitation may end as snow Saturday evening especially to our north and west.

Sunday will be quite chilly and windy with highs only near 40.

Next week we should enjoy nice spring like weather with dry conditions and mild temperatures.

SATURDAY – MAR 12 – Rain heavy at times and becoming windy, rain may end as snow especially to our north and west, early highs in the 40s dropping to the 30s in the afternoon.

SUNDAY – MAR 13 – Mostly sunny, windy and chilly, highs only in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – MAR 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – MAR 15 – Partly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 16 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

OUTLOOK – A gale watch has been issued effective Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning; small craft advisories expected Sunday afternoon; no advisories expected Sunday night through Monday night.
