CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR AUGUST 14TH!
AVERAGE HIGH: 83 AVERAGE LOW: 65
RECORD HIGH: 97 – 2005 RECORD LOW: 54 – 1983
YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 80 LOW: 63 PRECIPITATION: NONE
High pressure moving off the coast will provide us with another mostly sunny day today with pleasant temperatures and continued low humidity with dew points mainly in the 50s.
As has been the case over the last several weeks, what looked like some well needed heavy rain early next week now appears that there will only be a chance of showers mainly Tuesday and Wednesday as much of the precipitation will be mainly south of our area. With clouds and an onshore wind, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees below normal.
Dry weather is expected Thursday through Saturday with warm temperatures and moderate humidity as high pressure builds into the area.
