Skies are cloudy in the Clifton area with temperatures in the upper 30s ranging to the upper 20s further inland..

Rain will develop later this morning and last throughout the evening, temperatures will be in the 40s so all the precipitation will be in the form of plain rain. Rain will total around 1 inch.

Clearing for Monday and it will be colder as the day goes on with temperatures around 40 in the morning dropping to the upper 20s by sunset.

Dry and cold for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Much colder Thursday and Friday.  Watching for a potential coastal storm that could give us snow, too early for any details until the computer models come in better agreement, we should have a better handle of the situation by tomorrow.

Thursday – Cloudy with a chance of snow, high in the low 30s.

Friday – Mostly cloudy and very cold with a chance of snow, high only around 20.

Saturday – Mostly sunny, high near 30.

 

Marine forecast: Gale warnings in effect from 1pm to 10pm today for west wind gusting to 40 knots, seas building to 6-9 feet.

Outlook – Advisories possible Monday and then for the possible coastal storm Thursday and Friday..
