Sunny and cool today but with much less wind! Mostly cloudy and continued cool during the day on Thursday with a chance of rain at night! Rain and continued cool Friday and Saturday! Some clearing and a little milder on Sunday! Dry and quite mild early next week!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures have fallen below freezing in much of the area with early readings ranging from 28 in Clifton down to 21 at High Point. Winds are mainly light from the west-northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 29.

Arctic high pressure will be over us today giving us a sunny day but still a cool day but with much less wind than yesterday.

As the high moves off the coast we should see an increase in clouds on Thursday with a chance of rain at night.

An area of low pressure will move through the area Friday into Saturday with continued cool temperatures. Light rain will be likely during the day on Friday with heavier rain expected Friday night into Saturday.

Sunday looks to be dry but with continued mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be a little higher.

Dry and quite mild Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds into our area.

SATURDAY – APR 12 – Cloudy with rain possibly heavy at times in the morning tapering off to showers in the afternoon and evening, highs in the low 50s.

MONDAY – APR 14 – Mostly sunny and milder, highs in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – APR 15 – Partly sunny and mild, highs near 70.
