Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some light showers falling over parts of the area. Temperatures range from 38 in Clifton down to 29 at High Point. Winds are light from the east. The air quality is good with an index of 33.

A slow moving frontal system will give us cloudy skies today with a chance of mainly light rain. Temperatures will be cool with an onshore wind

A low pressure system moving up the coast will give us rain heavy at times tonight into Saturday morning, some of the precipitation may be mixed with snow at the higher elevations well inland.

Occasional rain will continue Saturday afternoon and evening. It will be quite cool with highs only in the low 40s and with a brisk northeast wind it will feel even cooler.

Finally some sunshine with milder temperatures on Sunday.

Quite mild Monday and Tuesday, a cold front will give us a chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday morning!

High pressure building in from the west will give us dry and seasonably cool weather for Wednesday and Thursday.

TONIGHT – Cloudy and breezy with rain possible heavy at times, lows in the mid 30s, Wind gusts to 25 mph.

SATURDAY – APR 12 – Cloudy and cool with rain heavy at times in the morning then a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening, breezy with highs only in the low 40s. Wind gusts to 25 mph. Total rainfall around 1 inch.

SUNDAY – APR 13 – Mostly cloudy in the morning becoming partly sunny in the afternoon, not as cool, highs in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – APR 14 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 60s, chance of showers at night.

TUESDAY – APR 15 – Chance of morning showers then becoming partly sunny, highs in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 16 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – APR 17 – Sunny, highs in the upper 50s.
