Warmer but still dry start to the work week!


Skies are clear at daybreak and there is a wide range of temperatures with readings in the upper 50s in the Clifton area to some low 40s in the colder areas of northwest New Jersey.

Plenty of sunshine will continue today, temperatures will be warmer but the humidity will stay on the low side.

Higher humidity Tuesday through Thursday with rain chances increasing with the best chance of rain Tuesday afternoon to early Wednesday and then again on Thursday.

We should dry out by Friday with more sun and seasonably warm temperatures.

Nice weather for the upcoming weekend is likely with again seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity levels.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Increasing clouds with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, more humid, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Chance of early morning showers then becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 70s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect for hazardous seas through this afternoon, winds southwest becoming southerly up to 20 knots, seas 4-5 feet.

OUTLOOK: – Sub-advisory level conditions Tuesday thru Wednesday night with advisories possible Thursday into early Friday.
