Today will be a mostly sunny day with quite warm temperatures and moderate humidity. A cold front will cross the area later this afternoon or this evening giving us a chance of showers and thunderstorms, some storms may be strong.
Just about perfect summer weather for Independence Day with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity with dew points in the 50s as a Canadian high pressure builds into our area.
The high pressure will dominate our weather the rest of the holiday weekend with plenty of sunshine both days and gradually becoming warmer and somewhat more humid by Sunday.
We should have another dry day on Monday with plenty of sunshine again with quite warm to hot temperatures.
A cold front will give us a chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
