Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 33 in Clifton down to 26 at High Point. Winds are calm or light southerly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 64.

A low pressure system will be moving into the area today with rain developing by noontime, possibly beginning as a mixture of snow or sleet especially inland. The rain will end by this evening with rainfall amounts mainly less than 1/4″
High pressure will briefly dominate our weather on Monday giving us a mostly sunny day along with cold temperatures.
A stronger low pressure system will affect our area on Tuesday with snow in the morning changing to rain in the afternoon. Snowfall amounts should be less than an inch in the Clifton area but up to 2-4″ across northwestern parts of New Jersey.
High pressure will then build into the area for Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front will come through dry Thursday night.
Friday looks to be the coldest day so far this season with highs only in the low 30s with overnight lows in the teens.
Another disturbance will give us another chance of rain or snow on Saturday.

TODAY – NOV 30 – Rain developing by noon possibly beginning as a mix of sleet and snow especially inland, highs in the upper 40s.
TONIGHT – Cloudy in the evening then clearing, lows in the low 30s.
MONDAY – DEC 1 – Sunny, highs in the low 40s.
TUESDAY – DEC 2 – Snow changing to rain in the afternoon and continuing into the evening. Snowfall amount less than an inch in the Clifton area with more further to our north and west.
WEDNESDAY – DEC 3 – Sunny, highs near 40.
THURSDAY – DEC 4 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 40s.
FRIDAY – DEC 5 – Mostly sunny and quite cold, highs only in the low 30s.
SATURDAY – DEC 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, highs in the upper 30s.
MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is effect until 6 a.m. Monday morning for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.
OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Monday afternoon and night; advisories likely Tuesday through Thursday with some brief gale gusts on Tuesday night.
